Asbestos Campaign DVD Out Now

Derek Maylor, Chair of the Co-ord urges all USRs to support the asbestos awareness campaign: "The Greater Manchester Asbestos Victims Support Group have produced a DVD which was made for Mesothelioma Day earlier this year.", he advises. He adds, "It isn't mega long but it's only £5.60 inc p + p and if you ring they will send it with an invoice. It's not just the DVD that's important but the fact that the CWU / CONNECT supports their efforts, it will particularly useful to be getting passed around the Engineering USR's during the summer asbestos campaign."

The DVD is called "Mesothelioma - The Human face of an asbestos epidemic", and is the DVD version of the Myspace video available for download from this site in February this year.

It is short but very effective and can be viewed here

All USRs are urged to order the DVD version as a way of supporting the campaign and keeping the issue live in the workplace.
