Action Mesothelioma Day 27 th February 2007

We are asking all those families affected by asbestos disease and all those concerned about asbestos in the community to support Action Mesothelioma Day, Tuesday 27 th February 2007 .

The British Lung Foundation and supporting organisations launched the first Action Mesothelioma Day on the 27 th February last year. In Manchester we held a public meeting attended by over 200 people to promote an Action Mesothelioma Charter.

This year we are organising events in Manchester to promote a greater awareness of mesothelioma and to call for better treatment for mesothelioma sufferers and prevention of further exposure to asbestos.
