| Lord Mayor Liverpool - Commemorative Message For International Workers Memorial Day 2020 The need for social isolation and the banning over public gatherings, means this year's ceremony held annually in Liverpool, can no longer go ahead. We have therefore taken the commemoration ceremony on line. The Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Councillor Anna Rothery has recorded this commemorative message as a tribute to all those who have lost their lives at work. She also refers to the victims of Covid-19 amongst our healthcare workers.
