"I have always profoundly believed that everyone is entitled to be treated with respect, that no employee should be bullied or harassed and that everyone should be able to work in a safe and secure environment. That's probably why I have been a full time union officer for more than 18 years, 14 of which have included responsibilities as an accredited Union Safety Rep.
I hold many roles within the Union, which has given me a wide range of experiences to draw on. I am the North West Clerical Regional Secretary, North West Joint RDA Chairperson, North West Regional Assistant Secretary and my main role is Assistant Secretary in Liverpool Clerical Branch.
I am very proud to been elected as the North West Health & Safety Secretary. The Committee is extremely proactive and has some very dedicated and professional delegates.
On a personal level I have a teenage son, I am a Governors at a local Primary School, I take my mum to as many Manchester United games as I can and any free time is spent with my family - we are very close and we all love to get together for meals (and a few drinks!) as often as we can."
