Multi-Function Environment Meter - CWU USR Special Offer

Following the successful trial use of the "Precision Gold 4 in 1 Multi-Function Environment Meter", Special Purchase Arrangements have been set up for the CWU.

Now CWU USRs Can be 'armed'!After this high-tech instrument was successfully trialed and tested by an experienced CWU Safety Representative, the Health, Safety & Environment Department has secured a special bulk discount price from suppliers for CWU Safety Representatives and Branches.

The multi-function meter which retails at between £70 - £90 plus P&P in various specialist electronics outlets is being made available to Safety Representatives and Branches by the CWU HQ Health, Safety & Environment Department at a special price of £45 inc Special Delivery P&P.

The Multi-Function  environment meter has been designed to combine the functions of sound meter, light meter, humidity meter and thermometer into one easy to use instrument with scores of practical applications  ideal for Safety Representatives to use on workplace health and safety inspections, testing the working environment and checking members complaints. The sound level function allows measurement of noise at work and the acoustics in a workplace. While the light function utilises a long life silicon diode for accurate brightness readings, testing if lighting levels are up to HSE standards . On top of this a semi-conductor for humidity measurements and a K-type thermocouple for temperature measurements allowing a precise analysis time after time.

Branches wishing to purchase a Precision Gold 4 in 1 Multi-Function Environment Meter should complete the order form being circulated via Letters to Branches and send it with a cheque made out to "CWU" to the Health, Safety & Environment Department.

Orders should be placed ideally by the 31 March.
